FOR STEVEN
For People with no Pain
Babies with Congenital Insensitivity to Pain do not suffer when alerted by pain signals. The babies are therefore unaware of the harm they may be doing to themselves. This results in many CIP babies biting off their tongues and fingers when they are young. They are also unlikely to cry when they have a fever. So in order to keep them safe, parents constantly have to keep a close eye on them.
Elphy uses operant conditioning to educate babies to stop biting their hands.Whenever the baby bites their hand, Elphy will start crying. The loud noise will give negative feedback, and with repetition eventually educate the baby to stop the harmful hand biting.A heat sensor in the Elphy hat will also alert the parent if there is a fever.

HOW DOES IT WORK
Crying elphy uses operant conditioning to punish self-harm and reenforce empathy to pain. Whenever your baby bites their hands they make elphy cry giving them negative feedback. This will eventually stops your baby from bitting their hands.
